When you perform a normal copy and paste on a cell in Microsoft Excel 2019, 2016, and 365 that has been calculated by a formula, the formula gets pasted as well. Show or hide the Formula Bar with checking or unchecking Formula Bar option

We can display or hide the Formula Bar under View tab in Excel Ribbon with Formula Bar option in the Show group.

If you want to show the Formula Bar, check the Formula Bar option; if you want to hide the Formula Bar, uncheck it.

  Not sure if my last post got posted, I have verified that the 'show formula bar' is checked and it still does not show. I have tried checking it off, then back on but still doesn't show. It might possibly be visible at the very top of my screen (just a tiny sliver) but I can't get that to enlarge so that I can see it.
